This award provides support for the purchase of a direct computer controlled Coordinate Measuring Machine for upgrading the Manufacturing Research Laboratory. This new machine will support four research projects. In addition, the machine will be used as an educational tool to demonstrate modern manufacturing technology to both graduate and undergraduate students.
