9508280 Dickson This project connects twelve Texas community colleges to the Internet over 56kbps lines. They are: Bee County College South Plains College Hill College Southwest TX Junior College Lee College Temple Junior College Midland College Texas State Tech College - Panola College Sweetwater Ranger College Vernon Regional Junior College Victoria College Faculty and students at the schools benefit from access to the resources of the Internet, including libraries and supercomputers. In addition, they are able to communicate and collaborate with colleagues at other institutions in pursuit of research and educational projects. The award provides partial support of the project for two years.
