Illinois Eastern Community Colleges requests support from NSF to connect four Illinois institutions of higher education and one museum to the Internet. These include: Olney Central College, Olney Frontier College, Fairfield Lincoln Trail College, Robinson and Wabash Valley College, Mt. Carmel. This grant will be used to help the institutions get access to the Internet. AccessUS, a local network service provider in Illinois, will provided the the lines used to access to the Internet. These Illinois institutions needs the Internet connection to be able to access information resources throughout the state, the nation and the world. The connection will benefit the faculty, staff students of these institutions as well as the community in general.
