This award will enable Old Colorado City Communications (OCCC) and the Institute of Applied Space Research (IASR) of George Washington University (GWU) to hold a workshop highlighting the promise of terrestrial wireless and next generation communication satellite technology for the research and education (R&E) community. The workshop will be held at GWU's Marvin Center at the Washington, D.C. campus on October 22-25, 1997.
