This award is made under the high performance connections portion of ANIR's "Connections to the Internet" announcement, NSF 96-64. It provides partial support for two years for DS-3 connections for George Washington University and Georgetown University. Applications include automobile crash analysis, nuclear studies, molecular modeling, and medical ultrasound. Collaborating institutions include the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, Brookhaven National Laboratory, National Center for Supercomputing Applications, Boston University and the Center for the Oceans, Land and Atmosphere.
