The College of Notre Dame of Maryland will initiate an eight-week, residential, multidisciplinary Young Scholars project in Biotechnology which will provide science enrichment activities for 30 precollege students entering grade 12. This summer program will emphasize research participation in biochemistry, microbiology, chemistry, environmental science, mathematics and computer applications. Support sessions will be offered in college survival skills as well as in library and laboratory research skills. Participants will work with mentors in research laboratories in the Baltimore area.
