Oregon State University seeks to provide enrichment experience for a three-week residential Early Alert Initiative (EAI) Young Scholars Program in physics and mathematics. The program will serve thirty-six students middle school minority students entering the seven and eight grades. The students are primarily American Indian and Hispanic students residing in rural communities in Oregon who are currently participating in Oregon State University's Science and Mathematics Investigative Learning Experiences (SMILE) program.
