9353888 Stinemetz Rhodes College will initiate a four week,commuter, Young Scholars project in biology for 32 students entering grades 10 and 11. Students will learn four techniques fore investigating scientific problems in biology. Working in pairs, students individually design. conduct, analyze, summarize and present their research at weekly participant scientific meetings. Panels of professionals introduce the participants to careers in biology. Follow up activities include presentations at participants high schools, further expansion and completion of summer research projects. Career and ethics of science activities complete the project activities. ***
