9355830 The pupose is to continue a longitudinal study of achievement and adjustment of Chinese, Japanese, and Americans four years after graduation from high school. Follow-up studies occured when the students were in grades 5 and 11. In addition to the lognitudinal sample, a cross-sectional sample of nearly 3800 eleventh graders in Minneapolis, Sendai (Japan) and Taipei (Taiwan) have been studied. Data are available from achievemment and congitive test, interviews, and classroom observations.
