9452745 Pantano Santa Fe Community College seeks to initiate a four-week, commuter, Young Scholars Project for 24 students entering grades 8 and 9. The project is an interdisciplinary program in life science. Students will participate in activities involving scientific exploration, laboratory techniques, data gathering, and data analysis in two main areas: Water Quality and Artificial Life. Field trips and follow-up research-related activities are an integral part of the program.
