The Department of Geology is acquiring the components to create a computer network, equipped with essential hardware and software, for the use of undergraduate students. The laboratory is being used by students at all levels - introductory through those engaged in research projects. In addition, to the use of commercial software, the faculty is creating a substantial number of new programs that is being made available to other educational institutions.
