9353305 Clay-Chambers The Detroit Public Schools Superintendent will provide leadership to a Planning team to develop a vision for mathematics and science education in the Detroit community. This team, subdivided into smaller task forces, will undertake a self-study, identification of needs and implement changes and strategies necessary to accomplish the vision. The results of the self study will be organized into a comprehensive strategy for change, improvement and academic excellence that will permeate the entire educational process. The award period is for 4 months. ***
