This project funds two Industry/University Cooperative Research Centers to collaborate on the development of a high efficiency wideband dynamic power supply modulator for linear RF power amplifiers. The Centers involved are the Center for Telecommunication Circuits and Systems at Arizona State University and the Center for Wireless Internet at the Polytechnic University of New York. The goal of the project is enabling RF modulation bandwidths of 5MHz or greater by increasing the switching frequency of the switch-mode modulator to 100 MHz or more.
