This is a conference on the molecular basis of transduction in taste and smell receptors. It will be held at the Monell Chemical Senses Center in Philadelphia, the largest organization devoted to chemical senses in the world. The conferees will include most of the leading researchers in the field, some of whom will present summaries of the progress in their respective areas and others who will be auditing and/or contributing to the discussion. The proceedings will be published.
