The conference "Chromosome Structure and Segregation" sponsored by the American Society for Cell Biology will be held at Airlie, VA on September 8-12, 1989. The purpose of the conference, to bring together students of diverse aspects of chromosome behavior who would not ordinarily attend the same meetings, should lead to synergistic scientific activity.
