The research focuses on neutrino physics, early Universe cosmology and non-equilibrium aspects of ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions and seeks to answer fundamental questions in these areas. This program is interdisciplinary, at the intersection of nuclear, particle, astrophysics and cosmology and is fueled by the enthusiasm, curiosity and drive of participating graduates students who are an integral part of the program. It has potential interdisciplinary impact across a broad spectrum of fundamental questions in these different areas of timely experimental and theoretical interest.
