Funds are requested to support travel for a prospective post doctoral applicant to travel to the mentor's home institution for consultation and planning. Travel will be from Delaware to Alabama during the first week of November 2009. The planning meeting will include discussions regarding science goals for the post doc proposal and strengthening of the P.I.'s background and understanding of Antarctic research, including feasibility and logistical requirements.
