The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.A5223 is a non-randomized prospective evaluation of78 HIV-1- infected subjects designed to determine the pharmacokinetics (PK) of LPV in men and women. Subjects will be stratified by sex, race and ethnicity. They will undergo pharmacokinetic evaluations on plasma samples obtained prior to and up to 12 hours after the administration of the morning dose of lopinavir/ritonavir (LPV/RTV). This study will allow us to begin to have a better understanding of the safety and efficacy of antiretroviral agents among women.
