Sandostatin on Gh Secretion and Carbohydrate Lipid and Protein Metabolism

Abstract

Suppression of GH secretion with the somatostatin analog Sandostatin will reduce total GH secretion, promote restoration of normal pusatile GH release and improve carbohydrate, lipid and protein utilization.
