The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of D-cycloserine (DCS) versus a placebo, an inactive substance, on responses to cocaine cues in cocaine dependent individuals. D-cycloserine is an antibiotic approved by the FDA for use in the treatment of tuberculosis. The use of this medication in this study is investigational. This is a scientific investigation and not a treatment study. Subjects are being asked to participate in this study because they are 18 years of age or older and dependent on cocaine. This study is being done at the Medical University of South Carolina and will involve approximately 20 volunteers.
