Production of as many as 35,000 highly viable, Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) transformed LCLs from submitted blood with >95% success on the first attempt. Cryopreserved peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) will also be stored for later EBV transformation, Cryopreserved PBMCs and LCLs will be stored in the most secure primary and back-up facilities, for future use as a renewable resource of DNA, RNA, protein and living cells. Maintenance of the NIDA public repository of DNA and LCL's and distribution of these biosamples and data to approved investigators per NIDA guidelines (http://zork.wustl.edu/nida/access.pdf).
