This contract is designed to maintain and develop systematic reviews of all interventions used to prevent or treat eye diseases and/or visual impairment which have been evaluated by controlled clinical trials, primarily randomized controlled trials. In addition, the systematic reviews will be published and continuously updated as an electronic classified bibliography and metaanalyses/reviews of the effectiveness and safety of eye treatments which have been tested in randomized clinical trials.
