Abstract

In this project, the P.I. will continue theoretical and numerical studies of mesoscale eddy formation and evolution using Contour Dynamics (CD). Specific focus will be on meandering and eddy detachment in thin jets, formation of warm outbreaks, and the evolution of Meddies.
