This core provides administrative support for the program project in the form of oversight of day to day interactions, data sharing, group meetings, and formulation of an external advisory board. The core PI is Gina Turrigiano, Professor of Biology, Brandeis University.

Public Health Relevance

Failure of homeostasis is central to many disease states affecting the nervous system. By uncovering the fundamental components of firing rate sensors and their homeostatic regulators we will develop new insights into the pathophysiology and treatment of neurological and psychiatric disorders.
