This supplement funds the second year of a three-year continuing award for the "Self-Sufficient Partnership for Research Program" and to support an evaluator at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology's Industry/University Cooperative Research Center for Energetic Materials. The Center continues to meet the renewal criteria requirements of the Industry/University Cooperative Research Centers Program. Funding is also provided by the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force to complete the Centers ongoing research and provide for a membership in the Center. Additional funding is provided by the U.S. Army to conduct a research in "Hazard Analysis of a Liquid Gun Propellant Containing Hydroxylammonium Nitrate." The Program Manager recommends New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology be awarded a total of $334,700: $48,000 for the second year of a three-year continuing award for the "Self- Sufficient Partnership for Research Program" and to support an evaluator at the Center; $46,700 for one year with funds provided by the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force to continue the ongoing research and provide for a membership in the Center; $240,000 for one year to conduct a research on "Hazard Analysis of a Liquid Gun Propellant Containing Hydroxylammonium Nitrate."
