Abstract

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The purpose of this study is to learn about how the active ingredient in the study drug, Velcade (bortezomib), is affected by the body and broken down (pharmacokinetics) and how the study drug acts on the body (pharmacodynamics) of patients with multiple myeloma.
