The effect of rosuvastatin on the delivery into human blood plasma of several components of VLDL and HDL will be measured using stable isotope labeling of both proteins and lipids. Subjects with elevated LDL and VLDL will be studied on three separate occasions after sequential treatment with placebo, rosuvastatin low dose and high dose.
