This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. Sometimes pregnant women have an increase in the amount of HIV in their blood (viral load) after their baby is born. This study will try to find out how often this happens and look at some of the reasons why this might happen.
