Abstract

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The purpose of this study is to find out if long-term treatment with pegylated-interferon alfa-2a (PEG-IFN) slow the rate of liver damage caused by hepatitis C in people who did not get rid of the hepatitis C virus with previous treatment.
