This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The purpose of this research study is to test whether a combination of protease inhibitors (PI) drugs, when added to current anti-HIV therapy, will help decrease viral load while increasing the amount of these drugs in subject's system. The study will also assess the safety and tolerability of these drugs and will attempt to identify a better way to help people with HIV and their doctors to select drugs that lower viral load.
