This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source,and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.The purposes of this research of this research study are: 1) to find out the highest dose that is safe to use of an investigational drug called PS-341 given in combination with another drug called Doxil; 2) to determine the side effects of this combination; 3) to study the way the body clears these two drugs in combination; 4) to study the quality of life of subjects receiving this treatment and 5) to look for signs of tumor response.
