Role of Hormones in the Sodium and Water Retention in Human Pregnancy

Abstract

Normal pregnant females will have sodium and water retention assessed using water loading tests. Blood will be drawn to determine and correlate vasopressin, renin, aldosterone and catecholamine levels.
