Study to Determine Whether Cardiopulmonary Bypass Induces an Antibody Response

Abstract

This study will determine if allograft implantation induces an antibody response in the recipient manifested as an elevated Panel Reactive Antibody (PRA) in the recipient. Also to be determined is whether or not there is any correlation between the degree of antibody response in the recipient and subsequent graft dysfunction.
