Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply modern noninvasive Doppler echocardiographic techniques to normal and abnormal newborns during their transition at altitudes of 1610m and 3100m to evaluate the effects of moderate altitudes of the postnatal decrease in pulmonary artery pressure.
