Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess whether Apligraf is safe and if it will speed healing of venous leg ulcers (abnormal veins). Apligraf is an investigational device which acts as a skin substitute. It consists of living human cells contained in a bovine collagen matrix (collagen is a protein naturally found in humans and animals).
