Abstract

This family study is designed to identify the genes responsible for osteoporosis. Families are identified via a proband with osteoporosis, and the proband and at least two other family members undergo a physical examination, bone density measurement, complete questionnaires, and have blood drawn for biochemical testing and the establishment of lymphoblastoid cell lines.
