Abstract

The primary aim of this study is to establish a registry for Alzheimer's disease and related disorders in a culturally diverse community, North Manhattan. The secondary goals are to examine cross-cultural rates of dementia as measured by disease frequency and cross cultural comparison of risk factors. Major cultural routes will be assessed for the prevalence of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders; blacks, whites, and hispanics.
