Determine if insulin sensitivity in skeletal muscle is diminished in polycystic ovary syndrome, if the decreased insulin sensitivity is intrinsic (non-acquired) in etiology, and if reduction of insulin resistance with an insulin sensitizer will restore the physiologic role of insulin in ovarian reproductive function
