After surgery, radiation therapy is the standard treatment for your type of brain tumor, which is called a """"""""Glioblastoma Multiforme."""""""" Although radiation is usually helpful for these tumors there is a need to improve the results of treatment. Gadolinium texaphyrin (Gd-tex) is a new drug which has been developed for use as a radiation sensitizer.
