This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. This study will determine if administration of the antioxidant vitamins E and C prevents post-prandial abnormalities in vascular function in diabetic and non-diabetic subjects. The specific hypothesis is that antioxidant agents given with meals will protect against post-meal endothelial damage.
