The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.The objectives of this study are to determine the pharmacokinetics and tolerability of long term ceftriaxone treatment and to subsequently determine the efficacy of this treatment in ALS patients.We will measure multiple aspects of decline in ALS patients and correlate these outcome measures with the change in survival due to treatment effect.
