Abstract

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The purpose of this study is to learn whether an investigational medication (not FDA approved for osteoporosis) called Zoledronic Acid is safe and will treat osteoporosis by reducing bone loss and fractures in postmenopausal women. This is an investigator initiated trial.
