This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.The current study is analyzing the effects of aerobic conditioning on survivors of severe burns. Subjects are randomized between 3 groups: standard functional training, and 2 aerobic conditioning programs. The goal is to compare the cardiovascular improvement resulting from an aerobic exercise program added to standard functional restoration (SFR)versus SFR alone.
