(Clinical trial summary from the National Cancer Institute's PDQ database) Surgery alone may be effective in treating children with neuroblastoma.This is a Phase III trial to study the effectiveness of surgery alone in treating children who have neuroblastoma. Patients will undergo surgery to remove the tumor and involved lymph nodes. Some patients may also receive combination chemotherapy, further surgery, and/or radiation therapy.
