Abstract

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source,and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.Hypothyroid women planning to become pregnant are eligible to participate in a study to evaluate thyroid hormone supplementation before and during pregnancy. There will be three visits: one screening visit to assess eligibility and two day long visits (one prior to pregnancy and one during pregnancy) at Georgetown University Hospital. Compensation: $200 at the completion and follow-up of each of the day-long visits.
