The Cell Processing and Sample Distribution Laboratory will provide essential cell processing and tissue banking support for Program Project Grant investigators. Operating through the Stanford Cellular Therapeutics and Transplantation (SCTT) Laboratory, Core D will be responsible for all aspects of cell processing including process validation, manipulation and storage of products, release testing, and process documentation. The lab will employ GMP in the preparation of CIK cells for Projects I and II and antigen- pulsed dendritic cells for Project VI. Core D will also establish a tissue bank for BMT recipient and donor samples and will manage the distribution of these samples to invesitgators.
