An AdministrativeCoreis required to perform the operations necessaryto the smooth and efficient operationof the Program.The Administrative Corewill be responsiblefor the personnel administration of each of theprojects and cores. On a daily basis the AdministrativeCore will order supplies, equipments, and servicesnecessary to the operation of projects and cores.The Administrative Corewill also be responsibleforrecording expensesassociated with these functions, and will perform bookkeepingtasks necessarytoreconcile the ProgramProjects accounts with the University ledgers.The Administrative Core will also beresponsible for the organization and execution ofthe annual retreat that will include the ExternalAdvisoryCommittee meeting. In addition, the AdministrativeCore willmaintain close communicationswith eachofthe projectinvestigators and core directors, as well as their secretarial and administrative staff.
