This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The Administrative Core is directed by Dr. Robert O. Kelley (Principal Investigator), and co-directed by Dr. Heywood Sawyer (Program Coordinator). INBRE accounting is managed by Ms. Connie Lu, using space and office equipment provided by University and administered by the Dean of the College of Health Sciences. The administrative core is responsible for scheduling and administering all meetings of the INBRE steering committee and the External Advisory Committee (EAC). The core provides administrative oversight for scientific projects conducted in each of the three thematic research areas; activities in the Bioinformatics Core; the Outreach Core; and coordinates INBRE support for the University Core Research Facilities (Imaging/Microscopy Facility and the Macromolecular Facility). In addition, the administrative core coordinates interactions with the state community colleges included in the Wyoming INBRE network and is responsible for preparation and submission of progress reports.
