This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source,and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.Mr. Grayson serves as the archivist for the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS). In this capacity, he is responsible for maintaining archives of important original literature, instrumental artifacts, replicas of instruments, data, and other items of value to the scientific community documenting the historical past of mass spectrometry. In addition, he serves as the representative of ASMS on the Chemical Heritage Council, a programmatic advisory group for the Chemical Heritage Foundation in Philadelphia.
