This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. Beam lines 1-5, 9-1, 9-2, 11-1 and 11-3 were optically aligned. The robot system (SAM) for automated mounting and dismounting crystal samples at liquid nitrogen temperature was calibrated and tested. All software was tested and the detectors readied. For BL9-1, BL11-1 and BL11-3, energy tracking was implemented for SAD and MAD experiments and Mb data sets were recorded to test and verify the capabilities.
